Terms of ServicePrivacy Policy

Who provides the service

Mаximiliаn Cаmmаrаtа, Sole Proprietorship, doing business as Sunset Dogwalker, San Francisco, CA. Contact: 650 468 0042.

Walks and capacity

Every walk is personally provided by me and is private to one household. I walk a maximum of three dogs at the same time. I do not combine dogs from different households. All dogs must be manageable together; I may decline or end a walk if conditions are unsafe. No extra dogs may join without agreement.

Booking and payment

Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed reservation. A walk is confirmed when I accept it. Requests need at least 48 hours of notice and are subject to availability. Payment is due before the walk by cash, Zelle or bank transfer. Packages contain 4 or 8 walks; remaining walks can be requested after package confirmation and do not expire. Extra-dog and agreed out-of-area charges are confirmed before service.

Health, vaccinations and dog tags

You confirm that each dog has current legally required rabies vaccination and licensing, wears current identification and required tags, and receives other vaccinations recommended by its veterinarian. Tell me about recognized medical exemptions before requesting service. Provide vaccination or licensing records if requested. Disclose illness, injuries, allergies, medications, aggression, bite history, escape behavior and handling needs. Do not send a contagious or unwell dog on a walk. Dogs must respond to basic commands, and I may decline a dog I cannot safely handle.

Leashes, collars and harnesses

Provide a secure, properly fitted collar or harness and a sound leash appropriate for your dog. Check the fit and disclose any slipping, chewing or escape risk. I check equipment before setting out and may decline damaged or unsuitable equipment. Walks are on leash; booking does not authorize off-leash exercise. You remain responsible for information and equipment you provide. This provision does not excuse my own negligence or limit responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Emergency veterinary authorization

If your dog needs urgent care, I will try to contact you and your emergency contact. If you cannot be reached in time, you authorize me to contact your veterinarian or an available emergency clinic, transport your dog when reasonably necessary, and obtain reasonably necessary urgent assessment and treatment. Clinical decisions remain with the veterinarian. You are responsible for reasonable veterinary and necessary transport costs incurred on your dog’s behalf, except to the extent another party is responsible under applicable law, including costs caused by my negligence. Provide current emergency and veterinary contact details and notify me of any treatment restrictions in advance.

Cancellation and no-shows

You may cancel a confirmed walk without a cancellation fee at least 24 hours before its scheduled start, using San Francisco time. For cancellation less than 24 hours before the start, or a no-show that prevents the agreed walk, the cancellation fee is 50% of the agreed per-walk price, including applicable additional-dog charges. For a package, the agreed per-walk price is the original package price divided by its included walks, plus the agreed extra-dog charge for that walk. The cancelled package walk credit is released; any applicable cancellation fee is arranged separately and is not also deducted as a full walk credit. Pending, unconfirmed requests may be withdrawn without a fee. To cancel, reply to a booking email or call 650 468 0042; leave a clear voicemail if I cannot answer. The cancellation time is when your email or voicemail reaches me, not when I acknowledge it. A new date requires confirmation and remains subject to availability. If I cancel or cannot provide the service, no cancellation fee applies. Unused paid credits and provider-initiated refunds are handled under the refund terms below. No fee applies where prohibited by applicable law.

Unused walks and refunds

If you cancel or decide not to use your remaining walks, no voluntary cash refund is offered. Unused paid walk credits remain available for future bookings and do not expire, subject to availability. If I cannot provide a paid walk, decline your dog after the introduction, permanently stop providing service or end your dog’s care, I refund the amount paid for the affected unused walks. Each unused package walk is valued at the original package price paid divided by the number of included walks, including any prepaid additional-dog charges attributable to that walk. Completed walks keep their original package rate; no retrospective single-walk repricing applies. A paid single walk that I cannot provide is refunded in full. Provider-initiated refunds are issued within 14 calendar days after I notify you that I cannot provide the service, using the original payment method where possible or another method agreed with you. No refund exceeds the amount actually paid and not already refunded. Refunded credits are closed and cannot also be used for another walk. This policy does not limit any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.

Keys, access and handover

Agree key, lockbox or in-person handover arrangements before the first walk. Do not leave unsecured keys or put access codes in the public booking notes; share access instructions privately. I use keys and access information only for the agreed service, keep them secure, and do not label keys with your full address. Tell me about alarm systems and access changes. Keys are returned at the agreed handover, on request or when the service ends. You must provide workable, safe access at the confirmed time; a missed visit due to unavailable access may fall under the no-show policy. Responsibility for lost keys or access damage is determined by the circumstances and applicable law; this is not a waiver of my negligence.

Weather and safe service

Routes and pace depend on your dog and the conditions. If weather, illness or another safety issue prevents the agreed walk, I will contact you to arrange a safe alternative or cancellation. No replacement walker is assigned without your agreement.

Your information and changes

The Privacy Policy explains the information collected, retention and deletion requests. These terms apply to requests submitted after the effective date and accepted under this version. Existing bookings retain the terms agreed when booked unless we agree otherwise. Material changes apply prospectively and are posted with a new effective date. Nothing here removes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be waived.
